The frames can be used as lifting frames of offshore equipment (for instance generators or pumps), but also as container carry frames – which means – that a container that is not DNV 2.7-1 certified can be transported in such a frame according to offshore regulations.
Uniteam frames are designed to carry both 20ft and 10ft containers, due to the installation of special sockets located symmetrically in the bottom frame, enabling transportation of a centrally located 10ft container.
Because of the capacity of carrying of the 20ft containers, our standard DNV 2.7-1 frames have the following dimensions: L x W x H 6468 x 2818 x 3350 (mm), Tare 5200 kg, Payload 19800 kg and MGW 25000kg. If higher payload is required, such a frame can be produced and certified in accordance with DNV 2.7-3 regulations with the MGW 30000 kg.
Uniteam frames are secured from the slings snugging by gratings or a special tarpaulin. Gratings are equipped with hatches allowing comfortable access to the tank or other furnishings with no necessity of dismounting gratings. Placement and sizes of the hatches are adjusted to customized needs.
Due to their wide range of applications and flexibility of use, the frames are a very convenient transportation tool.
